Cards

Cards are the primary method by which players interact with enemy ships in Cobalt Core. Cards require energy to play, and generally have positive effects including damage, movement, and buffs.

The cards available during a run vary based on who is in your crew, although some cards can only be obtained via visiting certain events, selecting specific boot options, playing certain cards, or piloting specific ships.

Cards are generally divided into one of three rarities: Common, Uncommon, and Rare. Rare cards are more likely to show up as rewards for defeating Boss enemies.
