Missile Shot is a common Isaac card.
Description
Costs 2 energy. When played:
- 1. Launch a Missile.
- 2. Attack for 2.
Upgrades
Missile Shot A
Costs 2 energy. When played:
- 1. Launch a Heavy Missile.
- 2. Attack for 3.
Missile Shot B
Costs 2 energy. When played:
- 1. Launch an Acid Missile.
- 2. Attack for 2 with pierce.
Exhausts when played.
Strategy
Missile shot does up to 4 damage in one card, dealing comparable damage to Peri's Multi Blast, albeit with extra steps (and, for better or for worse, more chances to hit midrow objects). This can be a solid way to add damage if you need it.
Its A upgrade ups the damage of both the shot and the missile by 1 each, a solid damage upgrade of 2.
Its B upgrade instead shoots an Acid Missile to inflict Corrosion and allows the damage of the shot to pierce. This can be good for very defensive strategies in a similar way that Dizzy's Acid Cannon is (it's comparable to Acid Cannon A).
