Parallel Shift is a common Isaac card and one of Isaac's starting cards.

1. Gain 1 Droneshift.
2. Shift all Midrow Objects 1 space to the right.

Strategy

Parallel Shift gives you a tool to move your drones among other midrow objects. Note that on its own, this card can never move drones to the left; even if you use the Droneshift to move left every time this will merely offset the rightward movement. So this card's presence means that with Isaac, all else being equal, you would rather dodge rightward than leftward in the early game, so that you don't leave your drones behind. Be mindful that it affects enemy drones and missiles too; you can use this as a defensive tool. Just be sure not to accidentally guide your opponents' missiles into your ship! It's ultimately not the most flexible way to move midrow objects, but its upgrades help a lot.

Its A upgrade makes it instead give 2 Droneshift, greatly increasing its flexibility. It's completely playable on turns where you'd rather not move your drones, saving more movement for the times you need it, and allows you to move your drones to the left if that's what you'd prefer. It's only preferable to the B upgrade if your fights last long and you don't have enough Droneshift from other cards, and expect to play this card 3+ times in important fights.

Its B upgrade gives even more Droneshift but makes it Exhaust. If you can draft other sources of Droneshift or simply can end fights before you need more than 3 Droneshift, this upgrade is superior to the A upgrade.
