Firewall is a common Drake card.

Costs 1 energy. When played:

1. Gain 1 Shield.
2. Gain 1 Temp Shield.
3. Gain 1 Heat.

3. Gain 2 Heat. (+1)

Strategy

Firewall allows Drake to fill in for Dizzy, performing the same thing that a Shield Surge does, but with a downside of Heat. If Dizzy isn't around, this is an adequate substitute if you can handle the heat. It also has a couple of interesting upgrades depending on what you're doing with your heat economy.

Its A upgrade means you instead lose 1 Heat, allowing you to manage the downside of other Heat-generating cards while still using this to be able to take a hit here and there. As it nets you -2 Heat on a card that doesn't Exhaust, this is the most efficient heat-management upgrade available to Drake.

Its B upgrade achieves heights that Shield Surge never could, even on its upgrades, but now gives you 2 Heat - this works excellently on ships that are looking to trade health for victory on their own terms, and have healing effects to manage the constant overheating.
