Costs 1 energy. When played:
- 1. Gain 1 Shield.

Basic Block A
Costs 0 energy (-1). When played:
- 1. Gain 1 Shield.
Basic Block B
Costs 1 energy. When played:
- 1. Gain 1 Shield.
- 2. Gain 1 Temporary Shield.
Strategy
Basic Block can be very useful to tank incoming damage, as well as building up more shield to later block more damage. There are other cards that can give the player more shield and temp shield, especially in Dizzy's deck. Upgrading Basic Block does not give a big advantage, many other cards are worth upgrading more.
