Ace is a rare Riggs card.

1. Gain 1 Ace.

Exhausts when played.

Strategy

Ace gives you consistent ability to maneuver during long fights, giving you plenty of options each turn for how to manuever, hit the enemy, and get out of their way. It does, however, want to be played early in fights and is expensive and doesn't do anything for you on the turn it's played. Card draw helps for the first problem, but its energy cost also makes it susceptible to being drawn when you can't afford it. Selective Memory is a great companion for helping you find it early. As long as you find a way to play it early, it's versatile and able to fit into a variety of strategies and decks.

Its upgrades also help with getting it into play:

The A upgrade simply makes it cheaper, letting you play other cards alongside it and makes it less likely to be dead-drawn.

The B upgrade gives you 2 Evade when playing it — a great value for one upgrade and one that often allows you to survive the turn you play it.
