Strategy

Now Or Never is very efficient Evade, but it also prevents you from stockpiling it, demanding that you find a way to make use of it (and any previous Evade you had) this turn. As such, its value is quite conditional on whether you draw it on a turn where

a) you're getting attacked and
b) you don't have Evade prior to using this card that could save you from that attack

As such, generally speaking this card is at its best in decks that do not have much Evade generation, using Shield or sheer offense to get through fights, that want a one-time solve in this card. It is worth noting that Strafe in play ensures you can always use the Evade for damage, but this isn't super consistent as Strafe often wants you to save up Evade before you play it, and this card will ruin that if you draw it before Strafe. It's also quite nice with Demon Thrusters, which ensure you'll have some Evade even after playing this card, and Demon Thrusters don't let you stockpile Evade anyway.

The A upgrade makes it 0 cost, improving its synergy with card draw effects and Zero Draw/Zero Doubler.

The B upgrade makes it not exhaust, which is useful if it's your main Evade source in longer fights.
