Demon Thrusters is a Boss artifact for Riggs that gives you +1 Evade per turn, but also means you can only store up to 3 Evade.

Strategy

Demon Thrusters ensures you'll never have a turn without any Evade again for the rest of the run, and adds a lot to your defensive economy. It does, however, require that your defensive plan isn't just Evade, as it will prevent you from stockpiling it. Luckily, there's lots of ways to supplement your defense: Shield with Dizzy, Midrow Objects with Isaac, fixed-movement with Peri, or just plain kill the enemy before it becomes too much of a problem.

With the economy this provides, you'll find a way to deal with its downside most of the time.
