Strategy

Serenity is a zero-downside card that gives you a way to play Drake's dangerous cards without penalty, allowing you to have your cake and eat it too. Pair it with high-heat cards like Solar Flair, Hot Compress, and Desperate Measures and the Serenity will cancel large amounts of heat! By contrast, cards that give you 1 heat like EMP Slug will still cost you a stack of this when played, making them less desirable with this in the deck. Note that even with this card, you may not draw it before you draw your big-heat cards, so making the best use of this card means being open to take hull damage from overheating every once in a while, just less often with this card. So healing effects, such as from the aforementioned Hot Compress, are quite useful partners.

Its A upgrade adds 1 stack of serenity, allowing you to spam high-heat cards more.

Its B upgrade on the other hand draws 2 cards, which is great value for an upgrade.
