Scoot is a common Peri card.

Strategy

Scoot is a reasonable defensive option, moving you 3 spaces, which is hopefully toward safety, in one reasonably priced card. Evade can be a fine supplement to this card to let you refine where this goes. This card very much prefers that your cannon be on the left of your ship so that you can more often be able fire on the enemy ship either before or after playing this card.

The A upgrade makes it Flippable, allowing you to choose to go left instead. This increases its flexibility significantly and makes it much better for ships that have a cannon on the right side of the ship.

The B upgrade adds a 1 damage shot to the beginning of the sequence, just like Multi Shot's A upgrade. Like that upgrade, it can be worthwhile if you have ways to increase its value like Overdrive and Powerdrive. Note that unlike your other shots fired this turn, however, you can't choose to have Scoot apply after it.
