Strategy

Button Mash aims to be a one-size-fits-all defensive plan for your turn - getting you out of harm's way, building up your Shield, and even giving you some Evade all in one card. It's value does depend a lot on when you draw it, however, as its evasion is mostly left, so hopefully that's a good place to go, and if you draw it on a turn where the enemy isn't attacking you much, it's less impressive. Nonetheless, it's rare that you'll take damage the turn you play this card, so it will usually buy you some time.

The A upgrade is a huge boost to its already-impressive defense economy, giving 1 Shield, movement, and Evade.

The B upgrade instead gives it Retain, which is a big deal given how much its value depends on what turn you play it on.
