The Chariot

The Chariot, piloted by Sir Ratzo, is a medium-sized ship that slowly powers up with the Powerdrive buff while firing powerful, sword-shaped missiles.

Before each battle, Sir Ratzo will offer a “battle of honor” in which he and your crew agree to not target each others’ weak points (any weak or brittle sections, such as The Chariot’s cockpit). If taken up on this offer, he will leave the battle after his hull is dropped to 4 or less by an attack (you will still get a card reward). If his offer is not accepted or he is “betrayed,” he will fight to the death. Upon being "betrayed", he gains 1 Powerdrive, and will always aim for a Weak or Brittle spot on your ship from that point forward.

Strategy

Honoring Sir Ratzo's duel more or less costs him 4 hull. Refusing the duel may give you more benefit if you can hit his weak cockpit 4 times or more, or if avoiding shooting his cockpit will cost you too much. Note that if you have Fracture Detection, shooting the hidden brittle section will count as betraying him, as will taking advantage of your own Weaken Hull.

Attacks

The Chariot will always attack in the order listed below, repeating once it completes each action. Attacks do not account for any Powerdrive the Chariot may have accumulated beyond the first. The missiles launched by the Chariot are always big missiles, although they cosmetically resemble flying swords.

Tips and Tricks

If you have the mobility to consistently target The Chariot’s brittle cockpit, doing so is often faster than trying to get Sir Ratzo to leave peacefully by agreeing to parley.

There seem to be no repercussions for Sir Ratzo unintentionally violating his own agreement, such as if one were to move their ship in order to force him to fire upon their own weak/brittle section.
