The Dreadnought

The Dreadnought is the boss of Zone 2. The Dreadnought is 12 tiles wide, with 20 hull and 12 shield on Normal, Hard, and Harder, and 24 hull and 12 shield on Hardest. It has three missile bays and 5 cannons. Its left missile bay is Weak, while its right two missile bays are Concussable.

Attacks

The Dreadnought attacks for 7 total damage spread between its 5 cannons every turn. On odd numbered turns, it gains 3 temp shield. On even numbered turns, it launches 3 missiles.

Evasion

The Dreadnought moves 2 tiles in the same direction per turn. It moves in the direction of where the center of your ship was at the end of its turn, or if your ship was perfectly adjacent, it moves two tiles to the right.

If you end your turn with none of your ship parts adjacent to The Dreadnought, it will warn the player. On any subsequent turns where your ship has no adjacent parts to the Dreadnought, it will square up at the end of its turn and gain overheat equal to the number of tiles it moved. It will fire for 1 more damage from each cannon on the turn after it does this.
