Grimoire is an artifact that gives you a Temporary Crystal Shard the first turn of each combat.

Strategy

A solid, downside-free addition to your Shard economy, adding about 1 Shard per shuffle and letting you profitably take one more Shard consumer.

Note that because this Crystal Shard is in addition to the rest of your hand, this also gives you +1 card draw on turn 1, giving you half of Quickdraw's benefit.

The Crystal Shard also works well with Zero Doubler, Flow State, the Gemini, and Tiderunner as a low-commitment card play.
