Crosslink is an artifact that gives you 1 Evade on every 5th attack.
Clarification
It has a counter that increments every time you attack. This counter does not reset between combats. Every time it hits 5, it resets and gives you 1 Evade.
Strategy
An excellent boost to your Evade economy. Multi-attacks like Multi Shot and Buckshot are great at boosting its count.
It is possible to use the fact that it carries over from fight to fight with careful play - if you have a fight under control, you may choose to intentionally miss to get this artifact's counter to 3, then finish off the enemy to leave it on 4. That way, you'll gain Evade on your first attack of the next fight, when you really need it.
