Premeditation is an artifact that adds a Temporary Glissade to your opening hand.

Strategy

In practice, this is fairly similar to Jet Thrusters, giving you effectively 2 Evade at the start of combat (albeit with a bit less flexibility, as you can only completely use it, or not at all). There are a few interactions with Glissade's Retain, for better or for worse, such as with the Tiderunner and Max's Admin Deploy. But this can be a quiet lifesaver, just as Jet Thrusters is.
