Grandma's Bakery and Weapons Market

Grandma’s Bakery and Weapons Market is an event during which you visit Grandma’s store to gain a rare card, remove a card, or (presumably) just pick up a few pastries for the road.

This event can appear in Zone 1, Zone 2, or Zone 3.

Options

  • One treat please!
    • Gain 1 random upgraded rare card (ArtifactHardmode.png Hardmode: non-upgraded)
  • Can we use your trash can?
    • Remove a card from your deck


Note that there is no skip option for this event.

Strategy

An upgraded Rare could be powerful but removing a card is generally the better choice here, especially in early Zones. This of course is dependent on which character is in your crew, your current deck composition, and if you are willing to take a gambit!

Do note that higher difficulties make the Rare card offer no longer be upgraded, making it less of an appealing choice.
